Current Research

PhD Dissertation (2025): Touchscreen-based Cognitive Testing As Enrichment in Ruffed Lemurs (Varecia spp.): SMARTA2 Apparatus Design, Welfare Implications, and Contrafreeloading.
 

Duke Lemur Center, North Carolina USA

I conducted cognitive touchscreen research and used noninvasive methods to collect salivary cortisol before, during, and after cognitive testing. Additionally, I tested contrafreeloading paradigm in captive primates.
