The SMARTA team was at Duke Lemur Center's Summer Lemurpalooza for science outreach. We presented our SMARTA color vision research to the public and engaged them with video demonstrations and virtual reality tours.
We used Google Cardboard and Google Expeditions to help the public understand what it means to be red-green colorblind. Halley, the black-and-white ruffed lemur, was the center of attention. You can ever join Halley in her enclosure whilst she is participating in SMARTA color vision research.
You can access these Google Expeditions by follow the instructions from this link: https://www.raymondvagell.com/googleexpeditions
